Grant Funding – Community Action for Revival and Empowerment Fund (C.A.R.E.)

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Community Action for Revival and Empowerment Fund (C.A.R.E.) is offered to Community- Based, Faith-based, Cultural and other Non-Governmental Organizations, in support of projects that contribute to the development of the community, religious and creative sectors of Trinidad and Tobago. The Fund places considerable emphasis on developmental projects and recognizes the importance of these being based on assessments of community needs. Additionally, the benefits to communities derived from group collaboration on projects are recognized and encouraged. It is also considered important to the growth and sustainability of groups, that they make a contribution to community projects.

Funding under CARE will cover the following four (4) categories of initiatives only available to groups:
• Developmental projects;
• Health and Wellness;
• Furniture and equipment; and
• Community Engagement and social events.

1. Applicants are required to access and complete the application form online and submit it, along with the following mandatory supporting documents, at least three (3) months prior to the proposed project date:
• A valid copy of the applicant’s National Identification Card, Passport.
• A copy of the Group’s Registration Certificate (Ministry of Land and Legal Affairs)
• Two (2) quotations from suppliers of goods and/or services
• The name and photographic identification of signatories – List of Executives
• The completed application form must be stamped and signed, bearing only original handwritten signatures and original stamp impressions.
• Detailed Proposal and Budget.
• Confirmed Banking Information and Statement.
